Waiheke is just a 35-minute trip by fast ferry from downtown Auckland, or 45 minutes from Half Moon Bay to Kennedy Point on the car and passenger ferry. When on Waiheke Island, getting around is easy. There’s a wide range of rental options available, from luxury chauffeur cars to scooters, alongside bus and taxi services and even a hop-on, hop-off bus.
